After a successful period in the Royal Marines Commandos, an elite arm of the UK military, David Thomson entered the commercial arena initially in consumer durables in the UK before eventually pursuing an international career.

Throughout his career, David has built successful businesses for some of the worlds most iconic brands, including P&G, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Crocs and 2XU, and partnered up with leading PE firms on high profile projects. Some of David’s milestones of the past 20 years include leading the start-up of country operations for Nike in Russia, establishing a new business division in emerging markets for Tommy Hilfiger, and the turnaround of the Crocs international business. He was also CEO of the 2XU brand engineering and global growth strategy.

David’s experience spans the globe, having lived and worked in 9 counties allowing him to successfully work with a wide range of nationalities, cultures and organizations from private equity and publicly listed sectors. He is also a Certified Executive Coach and retains an international portfolio of professionals from various industries for whom he offers coaching services.
