DALLAS, TX – February 27, 2023 – o9 Solutions, the leading AI-powered integrated business planning platform, welcomes Francesco Tinto, former CIO of Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA).
Over his 30-year career in IT, Francesco has been integral in building and enhancing some of the world’s best brands at global companies—including Walgreens Boots Alliance, Kraft Heinz Company, Kraft Foods, and Procter & Gamble—through improving business processes, optimizing the IT landscape, and enabling digital transformations.
Francesco’s areas of expertise include data analytics, business intelligence, consumer solutions development, business process optimization, and technical services. Operating across these domains allowed him to develop a keen business sense to eliminate redundancies, enable shared services, innovate faster, collaborate efficiently, and drive more value.
Francesco successfully led the complete technology integration between Kraft and Heinz after the companies merged, defining streamlined operating processes and implementing SAP solutions.
In his last role at Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA), he oversaw the company’s digital transformation, driving the adoption of a customer-centric culture and an agile operating model. He launched a world-class digital experience and customer insights platform to deliver personalized healthcare and shopping offerings and blend online and offline customer experiences.
Francesco earned an engineering degree from the Polytechnic University of Bari in Italy.
