DALLAS, TX – September 27, 2022 – o9 Solutions, the leading AI-powered integrated business planning platform, welcomes a top executive from Huawei to the aim10x Executive Council.

Edwin Diender is the Chief Innovation Officer at Huawei Technologies. Edwin is considered a blue ocean strategist for Huawei Enterprise and a frequent speaker at events around the world. He is adept in various subjects, from digital transformation to big data, smart cities, and enterprise solutions. 

Edwin has been globally involved in several programs and initiatives, scaling from small up to medium and large roll-outs across the industry value chain. He is experienced in negotiating and bringing to market concepts and solutions for the digital journey of Smart Cities and eGovernment, including Collaboration-enabled Business Process (CEBP), The Future of Work, and Digital Transformation. 

Edwin joined Huawei at the end of 2011 to help establish Industry Solution Sales Practices for the WEU region. He became a spokesperson for global analyst organizations and international media in 2013, and internally, he is a coach and mentor to new staff and employees and a part-time lecturer at Huawei University. He is the primary contact with non-profit boards and standardization bodies like UN-Habitat, ABAC, and WEF.

As Chief Innovation Officer, he helps customers and partners with their digital journey and is the go-to person for innovation, digital twins, and new business growth. Now, his main task is driving energy transition as the next wave of innovation for digital transformation. 

Edwin is an advisory board member for Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, KMUTT Thailand, sHero China, NPI Preventive Care Thailand, and IE Business University in Madrid. He says:
