DALLAS, May 11, 2023 – o9 Solutions, a leading enterprise AI software platform provider for transforming planning and decision-making, today announced that it signed a resellers agreement with Samsung SDS and EMRO Inc., a leading supplier relationship management (SRM)provider in Korea, to develop an SRM SaaS solution and expand into the global market.
Through this agreement, o9 Solutions and EMRO will work together to enhance o9’s next-generation Procurement/SRM solution and will offer this capability to both its existing and new customers and prospects. This solution will leverage standard capabilities available in o9’s Digital Brain platform, such as a multi-tier enterprise knowledge graph, enhanced workflows, analytics and reporting to build an industry-leading platform for next-generation procurement solutions. o9 Solutions will lead global sales, EMRO will lead domestic market (South Korea) sales, and Samsung SDS will manage development architecture support and sales to Samsung affiliates.
In March, Samsung SDS, which became the largest shareholder of EMRO, strengthened the SaaS competitiveness of its supply chain management (SCM) solution by signing the agreement with o9 Solutions and simultaneously securing global sales networks for global business expansion.
Samsung SDS plans to complete the development of the SRM SaaS solution this year by integrating EMRO’s procurement, o9’s Collaboration, Risk Management and SCM solutions, as well as its SaaS capabilities. Additionally, Samsung SDS announced plans to expand the business to existing enterprise customers of o9 Solutions, EMRO, and Samsung SDS, including new customers and Samsung affiliates.
Samsung SDS is also planning an integration that encompasses supply chain planning, SRM and supply chain execution by combining its SRM SaaS solution with Cello, its supply chain logistics execution solution, and o9 Solutions, which will enhance its global competitiveness in supply chain management.
