Training Description
This hands-on workshop focuses on key aspects of demand planning and provides an overview of a typical day for a demand planner, using the o9 Demand Planning solution. It will cover key features such as forecast generation methods, new product introduction, and machine learning, and explain their role in an effective supply chain. Topics like forecasting vs. planning, time series analysis, and consensus forecasting will also be discussed. Participants will explore the o9 platform’s functionality, specifically the DP Reference product, with an emphasis on real-world applications. The workshop prepares attendees for demand planning implementations, and upon completion, participants are encouraged to enroll in the o9 Demand Planning Technical Workshop to apply their knowledge to a company case study.
Prerequisite
The participants must be familiar with the supply chain domain, the o9 Platform, and its features. Additionally, the participant must complete the following prerequisites:
Exams
Participants of this workshop are encouraged to take the “Functional Insights into Demand Planning Core Solution Building Blocks” course on o9 Academy. Upon completing the course and passing the exam, participants will earn the badge and certificate.
