Session description

Session description (English translation)

Carbon neutrality started with the Suga cabinet’s call to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2050. Many companies have begun to make full-scale efforts to develop this as a management issue, and with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s 2 trillion yen fund, it is expected to accelerate further in the future.

In this seminar, we will learn again what “carbon neutral” means, consider the role that the Japanese manufacturing and distribution industries should play, and hear the views of experts from the perspective of supply chain reform on what measures companies should take to contribute to a decarbonized society.
