Member Spotlight: Belén Fábregas, PepsiCo

By aim10x|

In this Member Spotlight, we feature Belén Fábregas, Supply Planning CoE Director at PepsiCo Europe.

In her current role, she leads the Supply Planning Center of Excellence as well as partners and collaborates with the end-to-end supply chain planning community to excel in performance areas such as service, costs, and cash flow.

Since joining PepsiCo in 2006, Belén developed key projects that helped introduce new concepts and practices across the supply chain including implementation and digitization for relevant KPIs (forecast accuracy, service level, and inventory level) included in periods between review (PBR) and deploying detailed methodologies to identify system requirements in supply chain planning, warehousing, and transportation. Prior to joining PepsiCo, Belén was with Accenture and helped develop more than 25 key initiatives that helped introduce new practices to relevant clients from different industries, including Nestlé, Carrefour, Renault, Piaggio, Novartis & Boehringer Ingelheim.

As an Innovators’ Network member, Belén would love to discuss ways to transform the supply chain ecosystem to become truly sustainable and learn more about how to engage and motivate employees around big supply chain transformations. She’d also love to gain insights into integrating all of the many players and stakeholders involved in the E2E Supply Chain.

A great book that Belén recommends to the network is “The Goal: A Process of Ongoing Improvement,” by Eliyahu M. Goldratt, which focuses on the concept of identifying bottlenecks within a production system and restructuring the organization around it, as opposed to focusing on traditional approaches like cost-efficiency.

Belén is motivated by ambitious goals, taking charge, and seeking opportunities to advance, and considers her most important skills to be assertiveness and confidence. She is inspired by her parents’ philosophy of challenging their nine children to find ways to support and uplift others each day. Belén has taken this philosophy to heart and enjoys supporting others to grow and flourish in their lives.
