Chakri Gottemukkala

Chakri Gottemukkala is co-founder and CEO of o9 Solutions. He is a technology visionary and the motivating force behind o9’s Digital Brain platform that is driving digital transformation and changing how integrated business planning is conducted across the world. 

In 2009, Chakri and Sanjiv Sidhu founded o9 Solutions to address the practical challenges that global enterprises faced in detecting uncertainties and evaluating opportunities across their supply chain. Chakri brought together a world-class team to build o9’s Digital Brain, an AI-powered platform that helps companies make ​​better supply chain, revenue, and P&L decisions.

Chakri developed the o9 organization with a focus on 10X process innovation and fiscal responsibility, growing from a startup to profitability without outside investment. Under his leadership, o9 has grown from two founders to a global organization with more than 2,500+ employees with operations in North America, EMEA, India, and APAC. Chakri is focused on making o9 Solutions to be an industry-defining platform that creates continued value and success for enterprises, clients, and employees. 

Prior to starting o9, Chakri held a number of positions at i2 Technologies, the supply chain software company founded by Sanjiv Sidhu that helped create the advanced planning software category. Chakri holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, and a master’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
